Zircon Sand

Zircon, also known as zircon silicate (ZrSiO4), is found in ancient mineral sand deposits. We have available supply of Zircon sand from many sources worldwide. We can supply mainly 2 grades of Zircon with ZrO2 above 60% and below 63% and ZrO2 with above 65%. This mineral is normally a transparent beige coloured glassy mineral, looks similar as silica. This finds its place in many industrial application worldwide. Zircon is mainly used in ceramic product manufacturing and refractories to a range of high-tech applications. Zircon compounds have a very low toxicity and are not perceived as a potential environmental hazard. They are even said to have some medicinal properties and are now increasingly preferred in the manufacture of food products and pharmaceuticals as well.
